Veteran television announcer Don Pardo was forced to miss his usual ‘SNL’ intro announcement this week because he broke his hip. Pardo, 95, has introduced ‘Saturday Night Live’ during all but one season since 1975. His was the first voice ever heard during the premiere show when he uttered “Live from New York…” Don was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 2010 and suggested at that time that he wouldn’t be returning…
